Kennesaw – January 6, 2023 – With a strong commitment to the community and a mission to serve, Credit Union of Georgia announces donating over $100,000 in philanthropic donations in 2022. Credit Union of Georgia organizes and conducts fundraisers throughout the year to raise money and support local nonprofit organizations. The employees of the Credit Union nominate and vote annually to select the local charities in the communities the Credit Union will support. The top charities selected are then recognized and supported by Credit Union of Georgia for that year through various efforts including monetary donations, volunteerism and donations of food, clothing, toys and personal hygiene items.
Along with the efforts of raising over $100,000 for local charities – Credit Union of Georgia also volunteered over 650 hours to the community, attended more than 1100 local events and sponsored over 400 local events.
