On Oct. 11, about 60 golfers from sponsoring agencies came to Southbridge Golf Course in Savannah to participate in Georgia Heritage’s 10th Annual Chip in Fore Children’s Miracle Network Golf Tournament. The day included 18 holes of golf, lunch and an awards reception. All proceeds benefitted Children’s Miracle Network, which helps its affiliated hospitals cover the cost of treatment for sick and injured kids in their care.

The branches in Suwanee and Buford celebrated their decade anniversaries together on Nov. 15, according to a Gwinnett Daily Post article.

The program is a drive to collect new toys and articles of clothing for foster children in local communities. Stop by any of Georgia United's branch locations and pick up a wish for a child. Branches and back office departments provided more than 70 boxes to send to troops deployed from Robins Air Force Base just in time for the holidays. The boxes incuded sacks, groom items, magazines, batteries and other items.
