The Delta Community Philanthropic Fund recently donated $11,500 to three Gwinnett County-based charities in an effort to support local communities, according to an article in the Gwinnett Daily Post.
In ceremony at Delta Community Credit Union’s Duluth Branch, CEO Hank Halter awarded $1,000 to The Hudgens Center for Art and Learning, which provides opportunities for creative and artistic expression to promote healing in people with disabilities.
The Philanthropic Fund also donated $3,000 to Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett, which provides health and dental services to the poor and uninsured as well as a $7,500 check to Street Grace Inc., an organization that seeks to end domestic minor sex trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children.
