Georgia United Credit Union is pleased to announce Business Development Officer, Leigh Gant, will join the Leadership Gwinnett program this fall. This nine-month program will focus on many aspects of Gwinnett, help build relationships with active connectors and drive civic and social change for the betterment of the county.
This marks the 36th year of the Leadership Gwinnett program. A total of 42 community leaders were chosen to attend this respected program in the fall. Applicants were chosen through a competitive process to represent Gwinnett’s public, private, non-profit, business, health, education, legal and government entities. Gant will be the only credit union representative in attendance.
“I’m excited about this unique opportunity to collaborate with like-minded community servants to support Gwinnett County infrastructure and to further the success of the county as a great place to work, live, and play,” Gant said.
Gant has been with Georgia United for more than 14 years and is passionate about serving the local community. She currently supports Gwinnett and Rockdale Counties, the Archdiocese of Atlanta, local school systems and many other workplace partners with meaningful financial programs that encourage employee recruitment and retention. In addition, Gant chairs the Adult Education Advisory Committee for Gwinnett Technical College and serves on the Business Advisory Committee and the Gwinnett Literacy Consortium, as well as participates in Partnership Gwinnett Economic Development and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
