North Augusta, SC – SRP Federal Credit Union had two proud team members as their children were announced as the 2024 winners of the Ed Templeton Scholarship and the Larry Pridemore Scholarship. These scholarships have been set up by the Board of Directors of SRP and are awarded annually to the child of a full-time team member. The parents of the scholarship recipients this year were Ms. Molly Jones, Small Business Services Manager, and Ms. Keewanna Swain, Branch Manager of the SRP Tobacco Road Branch.
The $2500 Ed Templeton Scholarship, named in honor of SRP Federal Credit Union’s past President retired, was awarded to Mr. Luke Jones, son of Molly Jones. Luke graduated from Aiken High School and is attending the Citadel where he majors in Construction Engineering.
The $1000 Larry Pridemore Scholarship, honoring retired Board member Larry Pridemore, was presented to Miss Kaylin Swain, daughter of Keewanna Swain. Kaylin was a graduate of the Lakeside High School. She is attending Georgia Southern University as a Business major.
