SRP Federal Credit Union had two excited employees as the winners of the Ed Templeton Scholarship and the Larry Pridemore Scholarship were disclosed. These are annual scholarships set up by the Board of Directors of SRP to be awarded to a child of a full-time employee. Ms. Stacie Williams, Internet Services Supervisor, and Mr. Curt Schachtner, AVP of Accounting and Procurement, were immensely proud as their child was announced as a scholarship recipient.
The $2500 Ed Templeton Scholarship, named in honor of SRP Federal Credit Union’s past President retired, was awarded to Miss Camryn Williams, daughter of Ms. Stacie Williams. Camryn graduated from Fox Creek High School and plans to attend Lander University in the fall to study Environmental Science.
The $1000 Larry Pridemore Scholarship, honoring retired Board member Larry Pridemore, was presented to Mr. Colby Schachtner, son of Curt Schachtner. Colby was a graduate of Grovetown High School. He plans to attend Alex Baldwin Agricultural College as a General Studies major.
