Delta Community Credit Union is working with the Atlanta Science Festival to mentor students chosen as Chief Science Officers by their peers.
The young officers will pitch their ideas to judges in a "Shark Tank" style competition. Winning students will walk away with $300.

Southeastern Credit Union will act as one of a few local sponsors to the upcoming "Crafters for a Cause" event hosted by Almost Home Charities in Valdosta.
Crafters for a Cause is a free indoor craft show featuring items including jewelry, paintings, ceramics, clothing, handbags, accessories, birdhouses, soap, candles, pet products, canes and fresh baked goods, according to the Valdosta Daily Times.
ACH donates 100 percent of booth rental fees to BARC Humane Society, Food Pantry at the Hahira Church of God, Girls on the Run, Little Actors' Theatre, Quola and Shiloh Equine Outreach Rescue and Retirement.

Through a partnership with Georgia United Credit Union, the Kids in Need program of the Atlanta Community Food Bank recently donated more than 22,600 pounds of school supplies to Rockdale County Public Schools, according to the Rockdale Newton Citizen.
The supplies included notebooks, colored pencils, pens, markers, crayons, folders paper, pencils, glue and more. They will be distributed to RCPS schools and classrooms to help students succeed.

Atlanta Postal Credit Union raised $37,000 to benefit Children's Miracle Network in 2018.
Each year, employees at APCU raise money to help support CMN, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America.
In 2018, APCU raised its $37,000 donation through employee donations, Board of Directors support and fundraising activities including candy sales and weekly jean days.
