Yolanda Hunt, an employee of APCU since January 2015, was promoted to the credit union's call center manager. Hunt began her career at APCU as a teller before becoming a call center representative.
Most recently, Hunt worked as a member service representative at APCU's main branch. Before she worked at APCU, Hunt spent 23 years at another financial institution as a senior assistant operations manager and AVP, implementation consultant.

The new design is more contemporary and automatically adjusts to fit computers, tablets and smartphones.
"Our new and improved website is easier to use no matter what device the visitor is on and we've streamlined the navigation to help them find improtant information in fewer clicks," said SVP of Marketing Kristen Patton.

The credit union celebrated the grand opening of its 21st branch with a ribbon cutting this week. The event was attended by Robins Financial Credit Union executive staff, board members and many from the community.
The new two-story facility is located on the Russell Parkway connector between Lake Joy and Highway 41 at 4850 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins. The new buildng houses a full-service branch for the credit union but also includes a stste-of=the-art Call Center and Mortgage Department.

March 16th, 20181163Delta Community Credit Union's Ryan Behrens led classes at Cobb's Rising Professionals Summit on Thursday.
Cobb County School's Career, Technology and Agricultural Education department offers the Summit to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in its Work-Based Learning Program, according to a Marietta Daily Journal article.
Behrens has taught classes at the Summit for the past four years.

March 14th, 20181185Lakelands Federal Credit Union will merge with Peach State Federal Credit Union effective April 1.
Lakelands' members approved the merger in a vote at Piedmont Technical College on Tuesday. It had previously been approved by the NCUA.
"The merger is the result of a mutual goal on the part of both credit unions' boards and management to ensure that quality financial services are available throughout the community," according to a Peach State press release.
