Delta Community Credit Union (DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia’s largest credit union with more than $6.9 billion in assets, has named Arpan Patel as Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management, reporting to Chief Risk Officer Bill Buchanan.

Patel brings extensive risk management experience from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he held several positions over the past 11 years and, most recently, served as a commissioned senior large financial institutions examiner.
Patel holds a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, he has completed executive leadership and graduate studies at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. He holds Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations.
