Delta Community Credit Union invested more than $562,000 in the communities it serves in metro Atlanta and in three out-of-state locations in 2017, according to a recent press release.
The credit union estimates that more than 350,000 individuals were positively affected by the Delta Community’s sponsorship and charitable gifts to schools, hospitals, chambers of commerce, non-profit groups, industry partners and civic organizations.
“Educated, healthy and financially literate individuals and families are essential to strong communities,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “We are grateful we have the means and the opportunity to invest in programs and organizations which improve the lives of our members and others who live in the areas we serve.”
