A program affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and supported by Delta Community Credit Union recently awarded seven seniors from Georgia high schools scholarships based on their integrity.
More than 180 students from public and private high schools in 42 counties competed for the Center for Character Ethics’ 2018 Student of Integrity Scholarship. The students were judged on their high ethics, as demonstrated through leadership, community service, personal integrity and academic accomplishments, according to a Rockdale Citizen article.
The seniors were awarded anywhere from $1,000 to $3,500 in scholarships and came from the following high schools:
Rockdale Magnet School of Science and Technology
South Paulding High School
Habersham Central High School
Lakeside High School
Dunwoody High School
Pike County High School
