DOCO Credit Union members save more than $1.3M in Christmas Club savings

DOCO Credit Union members saved more than $1.3 million by using Christmas Club Savings Accounts during 2018.

On Nov. 1, more than 1,400 club accounts automatically rolled over into members’ regular share saving account for holiday access to their funds. DOCO members are estimated to spend more than $1.4 million at local business by eating out, purchasing gifts and enjoying the holidays, according to an Albany CEO article.  The savings from those club accounts will likely help with that funding.
