JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union named Ashley Avery its new marketing manager. Avery will lead marketing strategy and campaign development for the Jacksonville, Florida-based financial institution.
Avery spent the last six years as a marketing specialist for First Florida Credit Union. During that time, she developed marketing initiatives, strategized consumer and internal communications campaigns, and managed cross-functional projects. She also played a leading role in helping the credit union win two Credit Union National Association Diamond Awards for grand opening and merger advertising campaigns.
Avery earned a bachelor’s degree in converged communications from Florida State College of Jacksonville and a secondary degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University. Before her role at First Florida, she held communications roles at Family Support Services of Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville Historic Naval Ship Association.
First Florida Senior Vice President of Marketing Michelle Troha said she is thrilled to be able to continue working with Avery in her new role.
