Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union is excited to announce its arrival in Rincon.
“Effingham County is a desirable place in which to live and conduct business and we’re ready to be a part of it,” said Georgia Heritage President and CEO Dale Taratuta. “Georgia Heritage plans to be active in this thriving community.”
The credit union is inviting the public to the grand opening celebration of its new Rincon Branch, located at 5745 Highway 21 in South Rincon, on July 28 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch, music from New Country Bob 106.9, free giveaways and several grand opening raffles. The credit union’s board of directors and the new branch’s management team will conduct a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.
“It’s going to be a fun chance for the community to get to know the Georgia Heritage family and for us to get to know them,” Taratuta said. “At Georgia Heritage, it is our mission to make a positive difference for our members and the communities we serve – and we’re excited to get started in Rincon.”
The Rincon Branch will be the fourth Georgia Heritage location serving the Savannah area. The new 2,600 square-foot office, which has been under construction since December of 2017, boasts a modern design intended to maximize member convenience. The structure includes three lobby teller stations, a technology center, three offices, a conference room, a waiting area with coffee bar and two-full service drive up teller lanes.
The new branch offers an ATM members can access 24/7. Its lobby and drive-thru will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Fridays.
“This location will enable us to enhance the level of service and convenience we can offer to current and prospective credit union members in Effingham County,” Taratuta said.
In addition to the ribbon cutting, Georgia Heritage is extending two new offers to celebrate its new location. For a limited time, members can enjoy a 2.0 percent Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on 21-month Share Certificates. New members can also receive $50 in cash when they open a new E-checking Account with direct deposit at the Rincon Branch. Visit a Georgia Heritage branch or call (912)236-4400 for more information.
