Georgia United Credit Union was recently named by Forbes Magazine as one of 2020’s Best-In-State Credit Union in Georgia.
This marks the second year Georgia United has been awarded this title.
Forbes, in partnership with market research firm Statista, identified America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2020 based on an independent survey of more than 25,000 consumers in the United States who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction and assessed credit unions in the following areas: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital service and financial advice. Georgia United is one of only five credit unions in Georgia to be recognized by Forbes.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by Forbes as best in state credit union in Georgia for two consecutive years,” said Georgia United President and CEO, Debbie Smith. “We are passionate about helping our members reach their financial goals and strengthening the communities we serve. We are grateful for our members along with their continued trust and confidence.”
