GeoVista Credit Union awards scholarships to deserving students

Each year GeoVista Credit Union awards three scholarships to deserving applicants. The scholarships are in remembrance of the credit union’s dedicated board members who strongly believed and supported education.

  • The Eddy E. Rogers Scholarship was awarded to Liberty County Graduate Katherine Holandez-Lopez.  Katherine will pursue a degree in Bio-Engineering at the University of Georgia and wants to work for NASA.
  • The Thomas A McCorkle Scholarship was awarded to Riley Thomas Murphy, a Bryan County Graduate. Riley will study computer science at Georgia Southern University.
  • The Walter “Jack” Jenkinson Scholarship was awarded to Casey Patrick Murphy, a Bryan County Graduate.  Casey plans to study business administration at Georgia Southern University. Riley and Casey are twin brothers.

The credit union is proud of each of these students and wishes them the best.
