North Main Credit Union supports local summer reading program

North Main Credit Union recently donated a Kindle Fire and additional monetary prizes to the Cornelia Elementary School Summer Reading Program to incentive students to read through their break.

Students who sign up and participate in the summer reading program will have their name entered into a drawing for these  prizes.

“We at North Main Credit Union are excited to provide these prizes and be an advocate for this worthwhile program,” according to a North Main press release.

In addition, CES asks students to read at least four books on their reading level and complete a reading log for each book during summer break. Upon their return in the fall, each student will give their completed reading logs to their teacher for a special treat.
