Naperville, Ill. (August 2, 2023) – Charles “Chuck” Furbee, III, the former Chief Executive Officer of Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, died at home on July 29, 2023 in Naperville, Illinois at the age of 81. Furbee was Alloya’s founding CEO, serving the corporate from 2010 to 2013 before retiring. In addition to his service at Alloya, Furbee was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran and a former Senior Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
“Chuck was a great man and a mentor to many of us. He was a strong leader who listened first, processed information and then took decisive action,” said Todd Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Alloya. “He will be greatly missed.”
