Powerco Federal Credit Union recently released a statement mourning the sudden death of longtime branch manager, Julie E. Hagan and her husband, Danny Hagan.
Below is Powerco’s statement:
It is with profound sorrow that we share with you news of the loss of longtime Powerco Federal Credit Union employee Julie E. Hagen. Julie was Branch Manager of the Savannah Branch of Powerco.
Thousands of Powerco members have been served by Julie through the years. She began her career at the credit union 22 years ago as a customer service representative and quickly rose to manage our Savannah Branch.
Julie was a cherished and valued member of our credit union team.
Julie and her husband, Danny, lost their lives ina tragic automobile accident on Sunday, Sept. 1. The Hagans were on their way home from a whirlwind vacation to celebrate their 25th anniversary and to see their beloved Georgia Southern Eagles play LSU in Baton Rouge.
Julie and Danny Hagan leave behind three children — all of whom are currently attending Georgia Southern University. Powerco Federal Credit Union has established a GoFundMe account with all funds earmarked for the future education of the Hagan children.
