SRP Federal Credit Union showed our members some extra love and appreciation April 17th through 22nd with Member Appreciation Week. Throughout the week our twenty branches set up tables with thank you messages for our members along with snacks, drinks, and promotional items they could take and enjoy each day of the week. The week culminated with a Family Fun Movie Night on Friday evening and Shred Fest on Saturday morning.
The Family Fun Movie Night featured movie was “Minions – The Rise of Gru.” Members brought blankets and lawn chairs to set up on the large side lawn of our administrative building where a large screen was in place. Pre-movie festivities included face-painting for the kids as well as life size minions for pictures and glow-in-the-dark toys. SRP also had staff volunteers grilling hot dogs, popping, and bagging popcorn, and passing out drinks to everyone.
The week concluded with Shred Fest on Saturday, where approximately 370 cars brought 13,220 pounds of shred.
“We decided to have Member Appreciation Week in April so it would also coincide with National Credit Union Youth Month,” states Eric Jenkins, CEO, SRP Federal Credit Union. “It is our goal to always show appreciation for our members, but we enjoy having a week set aside with extra member recognition to remind them how honored we are to serve them.”
