SRP employees filled 66 stockings for Salvation Army’s Stuff a Stocking program and 39 children were supported through the Angel Tree program. (See attached pictures). Three employees helped the Aiken, SC Salvation Army distribute some of the stockings and Angel Tree items collected throughout the community to the families in need.
Additionally,16 employees manned the red kettles for the Salvation Army as bell ringers in an effort to collect donations for the organization. The Augusta Chronicle newspaper also had an Empty Stocking program where 6 employees filled containers with toys and goodies for children at Christmas.
Our members and employees have graciously filled the Toys for Tots boxes at our SC branches as well.
It is a blessing for SRP Federal Credit Union to have employees that share the same credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” that SRP is committed to as a company. Our people prove every day that Good Things Are Happening at SRP!
