Suncoast Credit Union opens first all-bilingual branch

Suncoast Credit Union recently celebrated the grand opening of its first completely bilingual branch.

The branch, located in Tampa, Fla., features a staff fluent in both English and Spanish and offers marketing materials in both languages, according to a CUInsight article.

The new building was designed with industrial loft architecture in mind and features modern furnishings that blend with the style. Members visiting the branch can enjoy a coffee bar and free WiFi in an open/cafe style floor plan. The location also offers teller pods, vehicle and mortgage lending applications services and extended hours through walk up and drive up Interactive Teller Service Technology Machines (ITMS).

“Suncoast is committed to meeting the needs of our members — and this extends to bringing the very best to our service centers and how the branch environment enhances the support our Member Advocates provide,” Suncoast President and CEO Kevin Johnson said in a press release. “This new branch has been thoughtfully designed to welcome all those in the surrounding neighborhood and Hispanic community; and we look forward to providing our current and new members with personalized service and access to products to assist with all their banking needs.”
