Kinetic Credit Union will host its first IDProtect Awareness Day on Thursday.
The free event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will give members the opportunity to learn about staying proactive with identity theft protection. The credit union will use the event to education members on the importance of taking the right steps to protect their identity through activities including paper shredding, hard drive disposal and services from the Georgia Child Identification Program (GA CHIP). GA CHIP’s services will include a full-color digital photograph and a complete set of digital fingerprints.
