Robins Financial Credit union recently contributed $10,000 to volunteers helping to build a playground that can be enjoyed by all children — regardless of disabilities.
The credit union donated the money to the Dublin VA Hospital as part of their annual community project to build the inclusive playground, which will be the first in the Laurens County area. The playground will be built near Lake Leisure, an area the volunteers have been working for years to restore.
“We are proud to support these volunteers and assist in building an inclusive playground for children and families of all needs,” said Katie Andrews, manager of Robins’ Dublin branch. “This will be a wonderful addition to our community.”
