Kennesaw – October 5, 2022 – Credit Union of Georgia is ecstatic to have been nominated by Marietta High School for providing educational opportunities, donations and financial services to their school and the community. Credit Union of Georgia’s Business Development Officer, Kathy Winiarczyk, has also been commended for her constant support of Marietta High School’s students and programs.
The Credit Union strongly believes in the education system and helping our students find their path to succeed in the future. Teaching students about financial principals at Marietta High School’s Summer EXCELerate Camp, participating in Career Expos, providing breakfast for faculty and staff, and providing financial donations is just some of the ways Credit Union of Georgia gives back. Extracurricular activities are important to the Credit Union as well, resulting in providing a new Scorestable for Marietta City’s basketball programs, t-shirts for staff, and sponsoring Marietta High School’s Lemon Street Classic Basketball Tournament. “Credit Union of Georgia was founded by Cobb County and Marietta City educators.” said Brian Albrecht, President/CEO of Credit Union of Georgia. “Our partnership with our educators is extremely important to us. We want to make sure that we do all that we can to help our educators, and to make sure that our students know they matter! We are honored to be nominated and recognized as an Outstanding Partner in Education by Marietta High School and the Cobb Chamber of Commerce!” To learn more about Credit Union of Georgia visit www.CUofGA.org.
