Envision Credit Union hosts art mural contest for Leon County teens

Envision Credit Union is hosting an art mural contest for teens in the Leon County, Fla., with a $1,000 prize is going to their school or an arts organization of their choice, according to a Tallahassee Democrat article.

“Envision remains focused on supporting our community not only financially, but also through engaging activities that encourage creativity,” said Envision Credit Union President Kelli Walter.

The schools or organizations with the three best ideas will be asked to give an official pitch to envision. Winners will be selected in March and will then have until April 17 to complete a mural on the credit union’s North Monroe Street drive-through. Envision Credit Union will provide all the materials needed to complete the mural, and will donate $1,000 to the school or organization.

“When we realized this bland wall needed an artists touch, we thought, ‘What better way to go about it than with a mural created by our own local students,'” Walter said.
