Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union would like to invite the community to participate in a day of golf to benefit Children’s Miracle Network.
The 10th Annual Chip in Fore CMN Golf Tournament will be held Oct.11 at Southbridge Golf Course in Savannah with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Golf teams will enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch and an awards reception. Golfers can win awards in the hole in one contest, the longest drive contest and the closest to the pin contest.
Team prizes will also be presented.
“Our Chip in Fore CMN tournament is a hit every year,” said Georgia Heritage FCU President/CEO Dale Taratuta. “It’s always fun to see everybody come out and enjoy a day of golf and community. It is humbling to support such a worthy cause.”
Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit Children’s Miracle Network, which helps its affiliated hospitals cover the cost of treatment for sick and injured kids in their care. Over the years, Children’s Miracle Network has helped raise more than $5 billion.
Last year, Georgia Heritage raised $10,000 for CMN with its golf tournament.
“Many of us at Georgia Heritage are parents, aunts, uncles or grandparents. We understand the importance of Children’s Miracle Network hospitals,” Taratuta said. “Georgia Heritage is honored to support such a beneficial cause. We’re thankful for the overwhelming community participation in years past – and we’re hoping to raise the bar even higher this year.”
Golfers can register in the tournament individually for $80 or as a foursome for $300. Georgia Heritage also has sponsorship packages available ranging from $200 to $5,000. Sponsors will receive recognition in print and at the event.
The credit union is also seeking donations.
