Team members from Georgia United Credit Union’s Dalton branches kicked off the fall season with a day of giving back to the local community.
On Sept. 12, team members from both Georgia United Dalton branches partnered with Greater Dalton Habitat for Humanity to provide home building assistance for two future homeowners.
“This was a great opportunity for both of our Dalton branches to unite and serve the community we live and work in,” said Harrison Stafford, Georgia United’s business development officer. “Through our shared strength, we were able to complete numerous projects and watch the interior of the home come together.”
In addition to assisting in the home building process, Stafford provided financial seminars to the Habitat for Humanity homeownership on topics such as money management, understanding debt and preventing identity theft.
“Knowing how to own a home is as important as owning the home itself,” Stafford said. “We are passionate about serving our community and helping our members reach their financial goals.”
