Georgia’s Own Credit Union gifting free meals at Woodruff Park

Georgia’s Own Credit Union hid dozens of free food vouchers shaped like peaches around Woodruff Park on Friday. The vouchers, valued at $10, can be redeemed at the park’s first Food Truck Friday of the summer. 

Food Truck Fridays are held in Woodruff Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through July 26, according to a CityBizList article. The free event is open to the nearby public. 

Georgia’s Own’s food vouchers are a result of an ongoing partnership between the credit union and Woodruff Park that was inspired by the 2017 relocation of Georgia’s Own’s headquarters to 100 Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta. 

The food vouchers also commemorate the credit union’s 85th anniversary and the organization’s year-long “85 Acts of Kindness” campaign, designed to serve the public in unique ways.
