LGE Community Credit Union recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Dallas location with a ribbon cutting.
The community was invited to attend the celebration of the new branch, located at 18 Georgia Heritage Place, to enjoy catering from Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q as well as entertainment from Madison James and the B98.5FM team.
LGE President and CEO Chris Leggett, GE Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Scott Brooks and Paulding County Chamber President Stacy Hamby spoke at the event.
“We’ve been in Paulding County for almost 10 years already with our office over in Hiram, and we are excited to deepen our roots in the area with the opening of our Dallas location,” Leggett said. “We’re happy to bring the services of LGE Community Credit Union to the Dallas community, including our current members, new members and future members.”
Darlene Golden, an active member of the Paulding County community, was selected s the branch manager for the new Dallas location. Golden was previously with Georgia Heritage Bank for 13 years, and has worked in the financial services industry since 1980. She serve on the board of directors for Paulding Christmas, and is a member of Dallas First United Methodist Church.
Guests to the ribbon cutting included Dallas Mayor Boyd Austin, Jr., Dallas City Manager Kendall Smith, Paulding County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dave Carmichael and Paulding County Chamber of Commerce President Stacy Hamby. LGE Director of Branch Services and City of Dallas Councilman Christopher Carter and LGE volunteer and Paulding County School District Assistant Superintendent of Operations Dr. Susan Browning were also in attendance.
