MagnifyMoney, a personal finance blog powered by Lending Tree, recently named Delta Community Credit Union’s mobile app as ‘Best Overall.’
The blog made this assertion in its article titled Mobile Banking App Ratings 2020, in which it recorded nearly 20 million app user ratings on the Google Play and Apple App Store as of December 2019. The final score for each app was based on these ratings, via a weighted average of iOS and Android ratings that factored in the number of reviews on each platform, according to the articles.
By these metrics, Delta Community Credit Union had the best mobile app of all banks and credit unions. In fact, the app was rated an average of 4.86 by nearly 30,000 users.
The article also noted that credit union apps are the highest-rated of the banking apps.
“Of the 10 apps with the best MagnifyMoney Score overall, nine were credit unions,” according to the article.
