McCoy Federal Credit Union sponsors McDonald House Charities of Central Florida

McCoy Federal Credit Union partnered with 27 Community Connection to sponsor the Appetite for the Arches virtual culinary gala in Orlando to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida (RMHCCF).

WFTV’s Greg Warmoth commentated the livestreamed Facebook event showcasing top chefs creating unusual and delectable dishes with McDonald’s ingredients, a silent auction, and entertainment. The festivities raised over $155,000 to give families who would otherwise stay in cars or waiting rooms a home away from home to be near critically ill children.

RMHCCF annually hosts over 27,000 overnight stays saving families $3.3 million in expenses by supplying accommodations with everyday needs from meals to laundry detergent. Worldwide, Ronald McDonald House Charities give relief to families in 43 countries.

McCoy Federal Credit Union embodies the Credit Union charter of “People Helping People” through sponsorships to help those in need and dedicated service to their Members. Beginning in 1954, McCoy Federal has grown to 13 branches assisting over 70,000 Members to achieve their financial goals and dreams.
