North Main Credit Union brought an early Easter to kids in Cornelia, Ga., last week.
About 50 children from ages 1 to 12 braved the light rain to enjoy the credit union’s second annual free Easter egg hunt at Library Park the morning of March 24. Alex Childers, North Main’s marketing director and new accounts representative, said the event was “a fun way to give back to a community that continues to fully support the credit union.”
The egg hunters were also treated to goodies from Cornelia’s local Chick-fil-A as well as visits from the Chick-fil-A Cow and the Easter Bunny. The City of Cornelia and the Cornelia Library also helped promote the successful event.
“We’re already looking forward to next year,” Childers said. “This is becoming an awesome tradition for North Main Credit Union and our local community.”
