Peach State Federal Credit Union employee among recent DE graduates

A Peach State Federal Credit Union employee was among 45 credit union professionals recently certified as Credit Union Development Educators after completing the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education Training.

Cindy Wiggins from Peach State Federal Credit Union received her certification after attending the training held from Sept. 19 to Sept. 25 in Madison, Wis. The training was attended by employees and volunteers from credit unions and system partners cross the United States and the globe.

DE is an experiential training program that teaches employees about credit union structure, purpose and how they differentiate from other financial institutions. During the National Credit Union Foundation’s week-long program, participants are involved in group exercises, field visits and interactive speaker sessions that provide insights into how credit unions can leverage their unique business model to help their members and communities overcome the financial and developmental issues they face.
