Robins Financial Credit Union made a difference in the lives of families with critically ill or injured children recently.
The Warner Robins-based credit union made a $4,000 donation to the Ronald McDonald House’s 365 Day Society, which houses families with hospitalized children. A contribution of $1,000 to the Society covers the cost of operating the home for one day, according to a Robins Financial press release. While at the house, the families are given meals and an opportunity to connect with other families facing similar situations.
Robins Financial staff also volunteered to help at the house, working in four different shifts over a three-day period. They cleaned the house and kitchen and prepared mailings, according to the release.
