United 1st Federal Credit Union employees volunteer for local Generosity Feeds event

Staff from United 1st Federal Credit Union’s Kinglsand and St. Mary’s offices recently volunteered for the community’s Generosity Feeds event. 

Participants assembled more than 10,000 prepackaged meals, which will be distributed to deprived children in Camden County. According to reports, 70 percent of children in the county struggle with hunger. 

United 1st staff portioned the food into single-serving size packages, heat-sealed and boxed for distribution through the already established backpack program and local food pantries. The food packs are all-natural with no preservative and provide nutritious and delicious meals to children outside of school hours.
