Tampa, FL – October 13, 2022 – Zachary Churchill, vice president of finance at USF Federal Credit Union (USF FCU), was recently named 2022 Emerging Leader by the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES).
Churchill was selected to participate in the CUES Emerge program earlier this year, ultimately competing against other young credit union leaders for the prestigious award. Churchill’s winning business case was titled: The Case for a Data Analytics Team.
Churchill has 16 years of experience in the credit union industry in various leadership positions including: manager of internal audit, manager of consumer lending, manager of performance excellence, vice president of lending at USF FCU.
Churchill was selected as the Florida Sterling Rookie of the Year in 2017 and served as a national examiner for the Baldrige Performance Program and is also a certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). Churchill is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in finance and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tampa.
