Delta Community Credit Union loan specialist Mattie Ford recently received a 2017 Gold Award from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.
The award honors MBGA-member loan originators who demonstrate excellence.
“I’m honored every day to work with Delta Community’s team of lending professionals,” Ford told the MDJ. “This award reflects our shared commitment to provide our members with mortgage products and serices that meet their unique needs and help them achieve home ownership.”
Ford, who is a 20-year veteran in the home lending industry, generated more than $39,000,000 in loans throughout 2017, according to the MDJ. She reportedly helped hundreds of individuals and families become home owners.
“A home is the most important purchase we make in a lifetime,” Delta Community CEO Hank Halter told the MDJ. “But buying a home can be stressful given the cost and long-term commitment involved. Mattie is exactly the type of loan professional any prospective home buyer wants. Her knowledge and ability to help members understand their options are exemplary. Our members consistently praise the advice and support Mattie delivers, and the significant number of loans she closes each year is a result of the trust and confidence they place in her.”
