Old LGE Community Credit Union branch to become Cobb County Police headquarters

Cobb County recently announced plans to buy the old Marietta branch of LGE Community Credit Union to become the headquarters for the Cobb County Police Department, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners ratified the action of purchase and sale for $13,475,000 on Aug. 28. The closing was set to take place on Aug. 31, although LGE will be allowed to occupy the property for up to 24 months afterward.
