Peach State Federal Credit Union Awards more than $158,000 in Scholarships

Peach State Federal Credit Union recently announced the winners of more than $158,000 in scholarships and educational grants.

Peach State has awarded almost $1.3 million in scholarships to students and career professionals seeking to further their education since 2002. This year, credit union staff and representatives from the Board of Directors gathered with the recipients of its four different types of scholarships and grants.


Twenty-three $2,000 Career Advancement Scholarships were awarded to members to assist in their continuing education in honor of the credit union’s founders. These scholarships went to:

Rick Cost Scholarship went to Yazmeen Mayes from Grayson High School

Dan Cromer Scholarship went to Emily L. brown from Apalachee High School

Dr. Frances Davis Scholarship went to Molly Wolf from North Gwinnett High School

Gracewood Student Scholarship went to Sarah Martinez

Gary Hobbs Scholarship went to Rylee Wallace from Walnut Grove High School

Dr. John Jackson Scholarship went to Turner Daniel from North Oconee High School
