Peach State Federal Credit Union offers apprenticeship opportunity to South Carolina students

Peach State Federal Credit Union’s branch in Aiken County, S.C. has teamed up with Aiken Works to provide an apprenticeship opportunity to students in Aiken County Public Schools.

Aiken Works, an initiative of the county’s public school program, teams up with local companies to prepare students for the workforce through hands-on, paid experiences, according to the Aiken Standard. The program aims to help students develop skills that will help them get jobs matching the communities needs.

Peach State Federal Credit Union, one of more than a dozen businesses participating in the initiative, will offer a teller position to students.
