Robins Financial Credit Union donates to help heal grieving children

Robins Financial Credit Union recently made a donation aimed at healing grieving children.

The credit union based in Warner Robins, Ga., recently presented a check to Heart of Georgia Hospice to run its Camp WINGS. The camp, held from Nov. 9 until Nov. 11, is meant for youth ages 6 to 16 who are grieving the loss of a loved one, according to a Credit Union Times article.  The children participate in normal camp activities and receie free grief counseling. They also live around children their own ages who have experienced similar situations.

The camp aims to teach the children about the grieving process and how they can move forward with their lives.
