The Fraud Prevention & BSA department at Community First Credit Union of Florida recently made a generous donation to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
The credit union staff organized an internal drive to collect pet food and supplies when the humane society expressed an urgent need. Between Dec. 13 and Dec. 31, employees collected
- 600 pounds of dry dog food
- 340 pounds of dry cat food
- 84 cans of cat food
- 5 cans of dog food
- Numerous boxes/bags of treats and bones
- Toys
- Bowls
- Pads
- Harness
- Towels
- Blankets
“We cannot thank you enough for hosting such an amazing pet food and supply drive for the Jacksonville Humane Society,” said Theresa Scordo, the director of development at the humane society. “At JHS, our goal is to make sure we can take care of people and their pets in our community. Your generous donations will go a long way to helping us continue to provide the resources needed to help pets in our community. Thank you! Thank you! We are lucky to have all of you as friends.”
