Credit Union of Georgia Donates $12,000 to Marietta High School Basketball Program

As a credit union founded by educators, Credit Union of Georgia loves to give back to local schools. This year the Marietta High School Basketball program was seeking a supporter for a state-of-the-art LED scores table for not only their basketball season, but also all Winter Sports and to allow the Audio-Visual Department to showcase their talents. Credit Union of Georgia was excited to provide the $12,000 donation that would allow them to create a better game and education experience for years to come.

“The Marietta High School basketball program is so grateful for the support of Credit Union of Georgia. It is so apparent how they care about our school, our community and most importantly our kids. We would like to thank the Credit Union for their consistent support of Blue Devil basketball which has truly made a lasting impact on our student-athletes!” said Coach Markus Hood.

Marietta High School is gearing up for another great basketball season and an exciting new tournament in December. From December 19th – 22nd Marietta Basketball will be hosting the inaugural Lemon Street Classic in honor of the historic Lemon Street High School.
