Friday, May 21, 2021 was an exciting day, not only for SRP Federal Credit Union, but for South Augusta, when a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new branch at 3034 Peach Orchard Road. Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis, District 2 Commissioner Dennis Williams, and other community leaders were in attendance to celebrate the upcoming branch opening.
This branch replaces the former Peach Orchard Road location which had been in Windsor Square with not only a new building where full financial services are offered, but also with drive through banking. The facility will be better by design in meeting the needs of our members, and at SRP the reason we exist is to serve those members.
At this time, there is an anticipated opening date sometime in August. Press will be notified when a specific date and time have been set.
