Youth Month Contest prizes spur interest in the lifelong value of credit unions and saving.
CENTRAL FLORIDA – During April each year, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) presents a Youth Month Theme to encourage children and teens to develop healthy saving habits and to learn how
Credit Unions can guide them through life’s financial journey.
McCoy Federal’s 13 branches in Central Florida celebrated with a two-step Youth Account Contest from April 1-30 with fabulous gifts and prizes. First, Youth Members who opened a Youth Savings or Student Checking Account received the gift of a McCoy Cares Stuffed Bear or Mop Top Ear Buds while at the branch.
Next, all members who opened either account, or made a deposit into either account, were entered into a drawing to enjoy one of Orlando’s popular attractions: Disney, Fun Spot America or Orlando Science Center.
The three Youth Members selected were thrilled to receive the phone call from Business Development announcing their prize. McCoy’s Clermont Branch drew the 1st place winner of a $500 Disney gift card for rides, shopping or dining; the Michigan Branch drew the 2nd place winner of a $300 Fun Spot America gift card; and the Osceola Branch drew the 3rd place winner of a one year Orlando Science Center Family Membership.
