Jenny Vipperman, the chief lending officer at VyStar Credit Union in Florida, has recently been selected to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Credit Union Foundation (the Foundation).
She was one of four new members added from across the country.
Vipperman, who began her career working for an Enterprise Rent-a-Car branch in northern Virginia, broke onto the credit union scene around 2006 by helping begin an indirect lending program at Apple Federal Credit Union in Fairfax, Va., according to a CreditUnionTimes article. Vipperman also served as vice president of consumer lending at Tower Federal Credit Union in Laurel, Md., and as chief lending officer at Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach before beginning at VyStar in 2018.
With her appointment to the board, Vipperman joins a team of 17 credit union professionals and volunteers dedicated to “making financial freedom available through credit unions,” according to the Foundation’s site. The Foundation focuses on financial health, cooperative values and disaster relief to help people achieve financial freedom.
