McCoy Federal Credit Union and partners of 27 Community Connection recently sponsored Central Florida Take Steps, a virtual event in Orlando that raised $75,000 to support the initiatives of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
Each year the foundation’s programs aid more than 250,000 people afflicted with irritable bowel disease (IBD) and furnish materials for over 40,000 medical professionals to stay abreast of breakthroughs. Communities in 50 US cities virtually stepped in their homes, schools and offices to stimulate funding for research for the causes, treatments and cures for IBD.
McCoy Federal Credit Union embodies the Credit Union charter of “People Helping People” through sponsorships to help those in need and dedicated service to their Members. Beginning in 1954, McCoy Federal has grown to 13 branches assisting over 65,000 Members to achieve their financial goals and dreams.
