Dairy Queen customers can enjoy their favorite sweet treats while helping to save a child’s life.
The popular fast-food ice cream joint will host its 12th annual Miracle Treat Day Aug. 2. For each Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ U.S. locations, $1 or more will be donated to local Children’s Miracle Work Hospitals.
Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have been working to help cover the cost of care for the more than 10 million kids who enter a children’s hospital each year. Each Blizzard treat purchased on Aug. 2 will mean more money toward charitable care, custom needs, education, special services, equipment and research to treat kids who otherwise might not have been able to afford life-saving care.
