Georgia United Credit Union is the recipient of three prestigious 2020 MarCom Awards, judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
In the category of Digital Media, Georgia United won the highest honor, Platinum, for its “Vote for Your Favorite Team” social content. The other two awards were Gold, one for the annual report in the category of Print Media and one for the Affinity Debit Card Campaign in the category of Strategic Communications.
“We are excited and honored to be recognized for marketing excellence by these international MarCom awards,” said Aaron Chestnut, chief marketing officer. “The awards represent Georgia United’s ability to create and execute world class programs and campaigns and reflects our strong commitment to positively impact and serve our members and communities. Awards like this are not why we do what we do but it’s always good to be recognized.”
Each year, the MarCom awards receives over 6,000 print and digital entries from companies across the globe, as well as marketing agencies, PR firms and more. In the past, about 15 percent of entries won Platinum, the top award and around 20 percent Gold. Approximately 10 percent were Honorable Mention winners. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
